John Hyland is an advisor, speaker, and author on financial matters who is revered for his entrepreneurial skills. He graduated in 1988 from Liberty University with a major in Finance and a dual minor in Bible Studies and Political Science. Fresh from graduating from Liberty University, John Hyland created his first company, working exclusively in the telecommunications industry. This telecommunications business went on to be very successful, creating $7 million in revenue and employing over 110 people.

On the issue of personal finances, John Hyland is the undisputed master. He is now in the process of publishing a series of books on the subject. The first of these is titled unofficially “I’m OK, you’re not OK…Financially Speaking” and focuses specifically on changing the financial lives of the readers in a practical and prudent way.

This newest book, due out soon, focuses on “creating a product and finding a buyer”, which is one of the central themes of the book. Other are the notion of selling people “What they want”, and “Teach me to Trade”. Through these basic concepts, John Hyland creates a picture of an entrepreneurial project that blooms into a full blown company and promotes wealth and positive thinking. Hyland contends that identifying these concepts in a business model is essential and that most businesses that fail, simply do not grasp the simple concepts or cling to one specifically.
